Rain Rain Go Away

I think there's a hurricane happening outside my window.

It was a crazy day here in California. We had a torrential downpour and these wacky, whistling winds that rattled my front door like somebody was trying to break in. Like woah!

Lunch was leftover Beautiful Pasta and an organic apple.

Our roommate's had his son today because the little man had a dentist appointment. Derek is quirky and adorable. I don't looooove the idea of people eating in the living room, on my couch and coffee table, but if it's gotta be someone. This is the dude.

He had to drink the entire juice box before even looking at his food. :D

Tonight, Ryan was late coming home from work because he did volunteer work until 6pm. We decided to head over to Souplantation for dinner. Mostly because I had a meeting late this afternoon and lost my desire to cook on my way back home.

Are you familiar with Souplantation? It's amazing.

From their Web site:

Let's just say within 24 hours of being in the ground, it's on a refrigerated truck on its way to us. Our food is made from scratch every day. Our salad bar buffet features over 50 fresh ingredients, including specialty tossed and prepared salads. In addition to salads, we serve original recipe hot pastas, hand-crafted soups, scratch-made muffins, and Focaccia breads in our hot buffet. Create. Indulge. Enjoy.

I forgot my camera. Woopsies... I promise I'll update you with breakfast pictures in the morning, though!

What is your favorite go-to restaurant for the nights you don't want to cook?

I'd have to say my go-to restaurant for no-cooking nights would be panera. I love their soups and sandwiches!

  3. Love the new layout, looks very professional.
I don't really have a go-to restaurant, I'll either get a takeaway, or buy something from the supermarket on the way home.

  4. I keep a lot of frozen meals on hand. They are mostly soups. On the nights I don't want to cook I just defrost. I like my meals out to be premeditated.
