I Just Want to Drink My Tea and Take a Siesta

Americans should really consider adopting tea time and afternoon naps. Or how about we start a new thing, like Spa Mondays?...

Today, I'm under some pretty heavy deadline pressure. On top of that, this is the first day of the new semester. I have to login to my online class today, as well as attend my chemistry lecture this evening. Ugh. I feel frazzled already!

Breath Jasmine Breath. :)

This morning started early at 5am. I was actually at my computer working by 5:20am. I wanted to get in a couple hours work before I hit the gym. I had a bowl of whole oats with natural peanut butter and a sprinkle of Fiber One Raisin Bran on top.

This picture isn't fabulous. No natural light available that early in the morning. That, and even my Nikon wasn't awake so early.

Ryan dropped me off at the gym on his way to work, and I pounded out 45 minutes. Split between the stairs, treadmill, and bike. Then, I walked the 1.5 miles home, gabbing the entire way to my girl. That walk home is pretty much the only time I get to talk on the phone. I enjoy it alot. When it isn't raining, that is...

Now, I'm showered, dressed, and ready to tackle the 10 million things I need to do today before my 5:30pm class. Tea in hand. Pomegranate Pizzazz. Yum!

What's your favorite kind of tea?

  3. Spa Monday sounds great to me too. I love all kinds of tea. I drink green tea in the morning, and then a cup or two of a flavored tea in the afternoon. Raspberry Zinger, Apple Cinnamon, Peppermint, you name it. Yum!

  5. First of all, I love that shirt you're wearing! Second of all, I vote for tea/naps everything + a spa Monday. That would make the week so much smoother.

Right now my favorite tea is pomegranate but I will never get sick of chai lattes.

  6. You are adorable. Anyway, I like peppermint tea. Over Christmas, my "Nan" introduced me to an awesome Lemon Tea and I am hooked on that now.
