She Sells Seashells Down by the Seashore

Good afternoon kiddies.

The Mister and I just got back from Carlsbad State Beach. Fun stuffs. It was a beautiful and HOT HOT HOT day here in SoCal.

Breakfast was a PB&J Whole Wheat English Muffin

Then, I hit the gym for my last session w/my personal trainer. Afterwards, I spent like 30 minutes stretching, so I hopefully will not have a repeat of last week's killer session.

When I got back, we decided to pick up some food over at Henry's before hitting the beach. Lunch Meat, cheese, baba ganoush, whole wheat pitas, strawberries and kettle chips.

After driving around forever, we finally found a parking spot in the residential side streets. Then, we trekked along until we found that perfect spot.

Then, down to business.

After a while, the heat got to me and I couldn't feed myself anymore. Thankfully, Mr. Myers stepped in to help.

We roasted a little in the sun, and then I decided to work off a bit of my lunch by looking for shells.

I didn't really find any, but Ryan did. We made shapes with them on the beach towel.

Maybe you had to be there... lol.

After that we headed back down to SD, where our apartment is a cozy 82 degrees or something equally as insane.

We're pondering going over to school for a run on the track. I'm less than thrilled at the idea since I'm tired from this morning's training, but I can always just walk the track and soak up a bit more Vitamin D for the day. :)

I think I'm making stirfry for dinner. I'll post tomorrow.
