Circus Training

Tonight, we did Take One on the circuit at school. The circuit consists of the following:

- bike for 5 minutes
- stretching
- 30 seconds bike
- 30 seconds entire class of 30 people running around the bicycles like wild chickens
- 30 seconds weight machine (there are 24 of them)
- repeat

You get the idea. It was like a circus with people jumping off bicycles and machines and running around in this teeny tiny space. It was madness.

Afterwards, I was pretty hungry. It wasn't so much the workout as it was just massive confusion that left my brain mush after an already long day. When I got home from class, hubby was just leaving to go to the gym because traffic getting home was really bad. I knew dinner would need to wait for a while, so I had a banana nut muffin and a cheesestick. I also had some pretzel twists (unpictured).

For dinner, I made cajun tilapia with pineapple-mango salsa and a salad. It was light, and the salsa was exactly the right combination of sweet to go with the cajun fish. Yum!

I'm really tired tonight. I have a little work to do, but I'm ready to curl up with my book and quit thinking. Maybe I will.

Completely unrelated PS: Hubby has been watching Mad Men on DVD for the past couple weeks. ALL the men on this stupid show cheat on their wives like its nothing, like its expected. And, for some reason it really got to me tonight and I'm peeved... at men in general including my wonderful, supportive husband. lol. Is that not ridiculous? Have you ever watched something on TV that caused you to be mad at your hubby/significant other when HE didn't do anything at all? We women are a silly breed. :p

Happy Monday to all, and to all a good night.
