I'm an Aunt! Welcome Baby Braedan!

Meet Braedan Carpenter Flagg, born at 2:43am (EST). He was 6lbs, 12oz, and 20.5 inches long. My little brother is a father. It's crazy to me!!!

This is my first time being an aunt, and it's surreal. I never expected that my little brother (almost 7 years younger) would have babies before me. Life is wacky!

Today has been insanely busy. I hope life is great for you.

What was it like for you to become an aunt or uncle? Weird? Wonderful? Awesome?

Toodles,

  2. congrats! my brother had his first baby 3 years ago. now, 3 years later, he is having his 3rd! and my husband's sister is having her first soon. it's cool being an aunt, but sad being so far away - i don't get to watch them grow!

  3. Aw, congrats! So cute. :)
Well, my sister is 10 years older than I am so it was expected :) And my niece, she drives me crazy sometimes (she's almost 6) but I love her so much!

  4. Congrats Auntie Jasmine! How exciting! I've been an aunt only once, so it was thrilling, though a bit strange as I hadn't known many babies. I'm WAY more excited to be a mamma!

  6. He's really cute :)

I was just an aunt in Jan. It is amazing but I haven't seen her in person yet so I'll let you know how that feels. Mostly, I'm uber concerned about her welfare all the time, which is odd. I have nieces and nephews on Colin's side. While I love them and care about their welfare, it's not the same for me.

Congrats!! How does Britt like being a daddy?
